I am Proud. I Stepped Up to the Plate. I Didn’t Make a Scene.

I went to a Pampered Chef Party at Katie’s house. I would do it again for her in a minute but the truth is they are almost torture to me. I spend money cheerfully to get out. I buy things that I will never use or forget how to use. None of this is to say that the products aren’t good. I think they might be. But tonight I went and I was basically pretty pleasant. I love Katie and this might be the only time I get points for being good this month. On a happy note, she did serve a delicious Margarita…but tequila is my natural enemy so I already feel like my skin is too tight….and I came home and ate two deviled ham sandwiches on Mrs. Baird’s white bread. Deviled ham is comfort food for me…it requires no cooking so it can be ingested quickly. Maybe it is like crack or heroin. It looks like cat food and when ever I open a can and I think that maybe if one day I am destitute, I will be able to eat cat food and like it. As long as I can spread it on Mrs. Baird’s white bread.

Another good thing about tonight was that I get to be with Pam’s family. I love them, I love Katie, I love Deviled Ham and Mrs. Baird’s Large Loaf. Life is good because I went to a Pampered Chef party.
